Security and Network Assessments

Security has become one the most important aspects of all new network designs implemented. You may not know or are aware that your network, server, and workstation are constantly being scanned by external and internal people searching for potentially vulnerabilities. The convenience of newer technologies such as wireless and voice over IP (VoIP) add an additional layer of risk that can be mitigated through a proper architecture and management.

Ensuring that your network infrastructure is secure and robust is paramount to protecting your critical business assets whether they are financial records, privileged documents, pricing models, etc. Therefore each device (server, computer, router, etc.) must be well secured and designed to meet your business needs.

What we can do for you.

Perform a risk assessment of your current infrastructure

Phase One – Inventory and Documentation Review

Review the current inventory of equipment and design of the infrastructure. Review the current design and the functional requirements for any design issues or exposures. Additional review may include policies and processes related to the network design and management.

Phase Two – Vulnerability Scanning and Penetration Testing

Evaluate the security of each host by doing a network device vulnerability scan and penetration test. Validate current design for physical and electronic exposures.

Phase Three – Client Review and Remediation

Review the findings of the assessment with the client and recommend changes to the infrastructure, policy, and processes where applicable. Perform and/or assist with remediation as needed by client. Our areas of focus include the following, however please contact us if you do not see the type of service you need.
